AMBASSADOR OF EARTH & WATER AMBASSADOR MEETING

AMBASSADORS OF EARTH & WATER AMBASSADORS MEETING:-

We all are aware of the environmental problems that we are facing due to ecological disbalance. But what we are doing for the conservation of our nature and environment..?? Our nature has given us evrything for our survival, but for our need and greed we started exploiting our nature and now nature is trying to exploit us. As a result of which we are facing global warming and many other problems.

In this view BAL BHAVAN JAIPUR took an initiative to do something for the conservation of our environment through appointing the conservers of our nature amongst the children. they are divided into 2 categories:
1) WATER AMBASSADORS-
We work for the conservation of water. We focus upon the problems related to water like scarcity of water, wastage of water, unhygenic water supply.
2) AMBASSADORS OF EARTH-
We work on the problems related to trees and plants and the environment. We focus on conserving trees and planting more and more trees.

Jointly, we begins our work at the individual level and then we move on to other people. We have our meetings on sundays in which we discuss upon the problem by planning under the guidance of our mentors and CHARAN MAM and then we execute our plans. We maintain our diaries to have the record of our meetings and day to day news related to environment. We have done surveys in our localities to know the actual usage and wastage of water. We also do different campaigns in a year to aware people like JAL MAHOTSAV, MAITRI MELA, MAATI UTSAV and many more along with street plays. We also tries to aware students at our school level.

We had our meeting on 23rd June in the view of upcoming monsoon. We discussed that what we can do on our level to conserve rain water. As we know, the rain water goes into the sewage and get polluted due to plastics and simply becomes a waste. So we planned out a visit to JAIGARH FORT, where the rain water is being harvested and the polluted water is treated properly which makes that water pure and fit to drink. In Rajasthan, our government banned the usage of plastic bags but we can still see the usage of plastic bags. In this respect, we decided to request our Hon'bl Chief Minister and Mayor by writing a letter to take strict measures against the usage of plastic and to ask the Nagar Nigam to check the working of Plastic Recycling Units which have been seen empty when Bal Bhavan went their. We also decided to go in the nearby localities to aware the village people about our environmental problems through plays and interactions.
We also decided to have the help of Media to aware other people and to make them realize that what is their duty towards our environment and our Earth.
With this we ended our meeting.
